Women in computer science biography at the BNF
22 Oct 2022 Tags:computer_science During the spring of 2019 I wrote a series of short biographies (in french) of women pioneers in computer science:
The biography are brief and there would be a ton more women worth celebrating but it was my attempt at celebrating those women. Somehow it caught the eye of someone at the French National Library (BNF) who is charged with keeping archive of all documents published in France (It was at least I am not sure how exactly they keep up now). They did a diaporama on biographies on the web and chose to feature my article on Margaret Hamilton, see page 13. I am really proud ! Also it means the girls can code! website which I also designed will be preserved… Not sure I am as proud of that :p
